135 East Hyogo Dry Gin from The Kaikyo Distilleryis named for the Akashi Meridian, which runs past the distillery in Akashi city at 135 degrees east longitude. It boasts a boatload of Japanese botanicals, with cedar wood, shiso leaf, chrysanthemum, sansho pepper and yuzu! Citrus and spice intertwine beautifully in this fragrant gin 

Nose: Leafy and vibrant, with mint, lime, caraway and fresh juniper.

Palate: The leafy notes remain at the fore, but soon enough a creamy hint of green tea arrives, along with a kick of ginger.

Finish: Just a touch of citrus oil sweetness appears on the finish.
